When you have confidence in yourself you stop worrying about what others think or say. You set your sights on pleasing God and do what you are called to do. This means sometimes you will walk alone, more often with a faithful few and certainly watch some walk away from you. In all things be confident and keep pressing towards the high mark of your calling.
Do not begrudge anyone’s success. Regardless of who they are give no place for resentment or negative thoughts within you. Focus on what God has for you and press towards your destiny. Clear your heart and mind for the light within you to lead you.
Put the events of yesterday in perspective, offer words of thanks to God for your blessings and ask for wisdom to see the possibilities in your challenges. Savor the day that is before you and expect to experience pure joy.
A prosperous life can be measured by our willingness to forgive. It is a sign of spiritual and emotional maturity to do the work of forgiving others and ourselves. There is peace and strength in releasing anger, disappointment and fear that are often part of our resistance to forgive and be forgiven. Lighten your load and forgive.
Do not spend any of your life living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by other people’s expectations of you. To quote Steve Jobs “Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.” You are worth it.
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. 1 Thessalonians 5:18
There are blessings in this day for you. Do not be distracted by the obstacles in front of them. Get pass the obstacles and get your blessings. You deserve every single one of them!
Expect to experience love in your life today. Do not box love in and only anticipate it in one particular way but expand your imagination and expect to experience love today in a new way. Help tune your perception toward love by offering it as often as you can. Present it in a kind word, a smile or an act of kindness. Expect to experience love today.
Some people confuse confidence with cockiness or arrogance. It is pleasing to God that we be confident in our relationship with God and in ourselves. We are not to be boastful but we should be clear and confident that God has created us for great things; we are marvelous and fierce; and the best is yet to come.
There are some things in life that are an absolute guarantee. One is if you improve, expand and increase your prayer life; your relationship with God will improve, expand and increase.
